What does Kia Connect include?
Kia lists four Kia Connect plans. Lite covers essentials such as My Trips, 911 Connect, Maintenance Alerts and Remote Charge at no cost. Care adds Curfew Alert, Vehicle Alarm Alert and Roadside Assistance. Plus adds Remote Lock and Unlock, Remote Climate Control and Find My Car. Ultimate adds Home-to-car with Amazon Alexa and My POIs. Kia also offers a complimentary trial before you choose a plan.

How to activate Kia Connect
Kia lists four steps to activate Kia Connect:
- Download the Kia Access app from your preferred app store, and log in or create an account.
- Connect your Kia by entering your VIN, and request a verification code to activate Kia Connect.
- Inside your Kia, select "Activate Kia Connect" on the dashboard touchscreen display and enter the verification code you received.
- Select "I have entered the verification code" on your mobile device to verify your activation.

Good to know
Kia's plan comparison page says Kia Connect is currently unavailable for model year 2022 and newer vehicles sold or purchased in Massachusetts.
Kia also lists extra features you can buy through the Kia Connect Store, and says Kia Connect can assist law enforcement in locating and recovering a stolen vehicle. Kia Connect over-the-air updates keep infotainment and navigation software up to date.

What is Kia Connect?
Kia Connect is Kia's connected car service. Through the Kia Access app and your Kia's touchscreen it offers features such as remote start with climate control, remote lock and unlock, Find My Car, 911 Connect, maintenance reminders and over-the-air updates, depending on your plan and vehicle.
Is Kia Connect free?
The Lite plan is complimentary. Kia's Kia Connect page says Lite is available at no cost for up to 10 years, while its plan comparison page shows it as complimentary for up to 7 years, so check the terms for your vehicle. Care, Plus and Ultimate are paid plans; Kia lists current pricing on its plan comparison page.
Is Kia Connect the same as UVO?
Kia's owners site uses uvo in some Kia Connect page addresses, such as the plan comparison page; the service is called Kia Connect.
What app do I need for Kia Connect?
Kia says to download the Kia Access app from your app store, log in or create an account, and connect your Kia with its VIN. Kia also lists a smartwatch app for iOS and Android through the Kia Access app.
Does Kia Connect work in every state?
Kia's plan comparison page says Kia Connect is currently unavailable for model year 2022 and newer vehicles sold or purchased in Massachusetts.
